Richland Elementary is thrilled to begin a new volunteer reading program with our community members.  Dr. Turner, principal at the elementary, was contacted by local community member Cindy Payne during the summer months about starting a reading mentor program.  Cindy Payne has organized over 30 volunteers to come into the classrooms weekly to read with students and promote a love of reading. ROAR (Readers Off and Running) is a successful program which our students look forward too.
