The Lady Bears softball team received the 3 seed in the Frisco League Softball Tournament. They will play on Tuesday, August 30th, at 5:00 against Laquey. Iberia High School is the host this year. Good luck Lady Bears!

RHS is hosting a softball jamboree this Saturday, August 20th, at 8:00am. Admission will be $2. Concessions will be provided by the Richland Athletic Booster Club.
The RHS softball team is selling softball gear. If you are interested in placing an order, forms are due no later than Monday, August 22nd. Order forms are available at the high school office.
Please join us for the preseason parent meeting for athletes who are participating in high school fall sports and junior high basketball. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, at 7:00 pm in the high school gym. Each athlete must be represented by a legal guardian. If you are not able to attend, please set up a conference with the Athletic Director, Kim Latham.
Just a reminder that junior high basketball practice will begin on Monday, August 15th. This is for grades 6-8. The Junior High girls will practice 3:30-5:30 at the high school and the Junior High boys will practice 3:30-4:45 at the elementary. All athletes are required to have a physical on file before they can practice. Annual requirement forms are also due. These forms are available on the MSHSAA website or they can be picked up at the high school office.

Richland School District welcomed its new teachers today! Thank you to the Market Basket for hosting the new teacher luncheon.
A hearing will be held 6:15 pm Monday August 15 at Richland High School. The tax rates are set to produce the revenues which the budget requires for the fiscal year beginning July 1. Tax rates will be presented in cents per $100.00 assessed valuation. All information provided herein is based on estimates.
