
Notice of Board Vacancy: The Richland R-IV School District is seeking applications for the current vacant position for Board of Education. An individual will be appointed to fill the vacant position until the April 2025 elections have been held and certified. Interested persons must submit an intent to serve the board and their qualifications to the district office by June 21st.

Any high school girl or boy (grades 9-12) who attends Richland and is interested in playing high school soccer for the 2024-25 season, there will be a player and parent soccer meeting on June 19 at 7:00 pm at the Buckhorn fire training facility. The facility is located at 25785 Red Oak Road.

The following Remind class code is for any 6-8 boy who is interested in playing Junior High Basketball. Please join if interested for the most recent updates and information.


Elementary report cards will go home today for students in summer school. If your kiddo is not in summer school you are able to stop by the office to pick up their report card.

Summer School Lunch Program


Summer School tomorrow!


The Class of 2024 held their awards ceremony last night.
Students received awards and scholarships totaling more than $226,000.
These scholarships were made possible through colleges, local businesses and A+ scholarships. Congratulations to our seniors!


Good luck to Andelyn Wans at the Class 1 State Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City tomorrow. She will be competing in the pole vault.




COMC Richland Clinic will be offering free sport physicals every Friday the month of June.


Today is an earlier release. Elementary will release at 12:20. High School will release at 12:30.

Summer school starts Tuesday May 21.

Bus routes will be different for summer school. Buses will not travel down gravel roads. We are working hard to ensure bus routes and times come home either today or tomorrow. Times will vary slightly the first few days as we work out the kinks of summer routes.

Teacher or staff member with a big impact on my high school career:
Susan Whittenburg, Susie was there for me no matter what. She pushed me to be a better person. I’ve never had a coach that I loved more. Anytime I needed to talk she was always there. This year hasn’t been the same without her.
Favorite memory of high school:
Community night of my sophomore year we did a dance during halftime and it turned out so good and our basket toss went so high.
