The elementary had a great time learning about fire safety this week! Bear Den, our afterschool program, had a visit from the fire department. We then had a puppet show put on by FLW Fire Department and preschool classes visited our Tri County Fire Department on a walking field trip! Thank you to all of the firefighters that helped spread safety awareness to our kiddos!

The Frisco League Junior High Basketball Boys A & B Tournament will be held October 19–26 at Laquey. The Bears B team will play Saturday, October 19 at 12:15 against Laquey. The Bears A team will play Tuesday, October 22 at 7:45 against Crocker. Good luck!

Congratulations to the varsity Lady Bears on their win against the Osage Lady Indians last night! The JV lost a close contest 5-3. Our softball seniors were recognized between games: Isabelle Bowling, Andelyn Wans, Lexi Burns, Jessie Bennett, and Jayda Sullivan. The Lady Bears are back in action today at Cuba.
