The Lady Bears softball team lost a close one to Crocker tonight 11-10. They will play Stoutland on Friday at 4:30 for third. Congratulations to Kamryn Kardosz on her solo homerun!
The junior high boys and girls basketball teams will play their first game of the season at Laquey on Friday, September 6th at 5:00. Good luck Bears and Lady Bears!

Elementary Picture Day is tomorrow!
Congratulations to the Lady Bears softball team on their first round win in the Frisco League Tournament against Dixon. They play in the semifinal round tomorrow night at 6:30 against Crocker.
Elementary Picture Day is almost here!
The Richland Junior High Boys and Girls Tournament is scheduled for September 9-14. Come out and support the Lady Bears on the 9th at 7:45 against Laquey and the boys on the 10th at 5:15 against Crocker. Good luck to both teams!

High School Morning Procedure Update
Students are not allowed into the building until 7:30 in the morning. Students will not be allowed to enter the building before this. Once in the building students are required to go to the cafeteria until 7:45. If your child needs to be dropped off earlier than 7:30, please sign them up for Bear Den for the morning session.
Students need to be dropped off at the side of the building, students should only be dropped off in the front of the building after 8:00 in the morning. This is to insure our bus lane is open in front of the building.

We're thrilled to announce that Richland R-IV has received a generous $3,600 donation from the Richland Masonic Lodge to purchase a Roger System for one of our hearing impaired students. This advanced technology will greatly enhance the student's ability to engage in the classroom lessons and educational activities. Thank you, Richland Masonic Lodge for your incredible support!

Richland R-IV School District had an individual experience a medical emergency this afternoon and an ambulance was called to the elementary school this afternoon. The individual will determine what, if any, further medical attention is necessary.
The Bears baseball team plays the Crocker Lions on September 3 at Crocker High School. Crocker will have a Field Dedication Ceremony for Coach Tim Hardesty before the game.

Richland Schools have enjoyed our 1st week of the 24-25 school year. The anatomy class has ventured outside for classwork and 1st grade was ready for the day of school!
The Frisco League Baseball Tournament will be held at Iberia High School this year. The Bears will play on Saturday, September 7 at 5:30 against Crocker. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students, passes will not be accepted. Good luck Bears!
